Publishing Flash Nonfiction
Reading for a literary magazine is one of the best ways to understand the publishing process and, eventually, publish your own work! So in this course, you’ll read and write flash nonfiction—a kind of creative nonfiction that is 1,000 words or fewer—and help decide what gets published in the Spring 2027 issue of In Short: A Journal of Flash Nonfiction.
Take 456 if you want a peak behind the scenes in publishing. No previous creative nonfiction or flash nonfiction experience required.
